How CPD Works
CPD points are awarded for recognised learning activities.
You need to earn a certain number of points each year to stay verified.
CPD activities include workshops, courses, events - both online and in person - and more.
You can track your progress through your APPA Coach Profile. Some activities have built-in tasks or reflection prompts that help you earn points and badges.

Can I join APPA membership even if I haven't done a course yet?
Yes-coaches at all stages are welcome to join the community. Some CPD features may be more relevant after certification, but all members benefit from connection and ongoing learning.
How do I earn CPD points?
You'll earn points through eligible activities like workshops, events, and tasks. Some may require a reflection or quiz to unlock points. Points are tracked automatically in your coach profile.
Do CPD points expire?
No, individual CPD badges and activities remain on your profile permanently. However, to remain a "Verified APPA Coach," you'll need to meet an annual points requirement.
Can I switch tiers or cancel my membership?
Yes, you can upgrade or cancel at any time. If you switch tiers, your access changes immediately and billing will adjust from the next cycle.
How do I access the workshops or community groups?
Everything is available through your APPA dashboard once you're logged in. You'll see your profile, groups, upcoming events, and workshop recordings based on your tier.
